USPS Promo Discounts
Registration is now open for many of the new USPS Promotional Discounts in 2026. The new discounts became available beginning on October 1, and run for varying times. A select few were opened as early as mid-August. Some discounts expire in June of 2026, while others are good through December of next year. Other programs have “windows” that open and offer incentives in six consecutive months after the initial mailing.
It is important to keep in mind the Add-On Promotions offered by the Postal Service can be “stacked” with the Core Promotions. For example: by using the Catalog Insights 10% discount and both available Add-Ons—Informed Delivery and Sustainability—your mailing is eligible for a 12% discount.
CORE PROMOTIONS
Catalog Insights 10% Discount
Promotion period: October 1, 2025 through June 20, 2026, with registration beginning August 15, 2025
Applicable to marketing mail pieces at least 12 bound pages, and include a list of products and services offered to facilitate order placement.
Continuous Contact 5% Discount
Promotion period: April 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with registration beginning February 15, 2026
Open to marketing mail letters and flats for sending follow-up mailings to the same address. Repeated mailings must complement or build upon the initial mailing, resulting in a targeted conversation with the recipient, potentially increasing conversion rates.
Tactile, Sensory, and Interactive 5% discount
Promotion period: 1/1/26 – 6/30/26 January 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026, with registration beginning October 15, 2025
Open to Marketing Mail and First-Class Letters, and Flats. This promotion is designed to encourage mailers to incorporate innovative techniques such as specialty inks, paper substrate treatments, and interactive elements.
Integrated Technology 5% discount
Promotion period: Mailer can choose any consecutive six-month window in 2026, rwith egistration beginning November 15, 2025
Open to Marketing Mail, First-Class Letters, and Flats. Mobile shopping (a printed QR code that takes the reader to a mobile-optimized website) or AI-generated imagery/copy is the easiest way to qualify.
ADD-ON PROMOTIONS
Informed Delivery Add-On 1% Discount
To qualify, a mailer must conduct a marketing campaign to reach their target audience via e-mail. According to the USPS, clickable images within the email can garner a 64% open rate.
Sustainability Add-On
Use the add-on when you produce a mailing printed on certifiable, environmentally-responsible substrates such as FSC, SFI, and PEFC.
