The 4th quarter of 2022 will see an expanded press room and bindery department for Kingery Printing as we are set to install a new web press and perfect binder. These two acquisitions will not only expand our capacity, and provide additional production efficiencies, but they will also shorten our overall turnaround times.
The press room will receive a Timson 1/1 LED-UV ink book press that delivers 32-page signatures on a variety of paper stocks, and will also offer in-line perforation. This web press is built for and will expand our offering in the one-color 8-1/2″ x 11” book and workbook markets. This new Timson web press will complement our existing digest-sized Timson web press.
Simultaneously, we will be installing another perfect binding line. The Muller Acoro, featuring 18-pockets, will run PUR adhesives, offering the most flexible and durable binding in the market. We continue to make investments in both of our facilities to better serve our customers, keep up with market demand, and support our local communities with long-term career opportunities.
